Our private fishing charters set sail from Maui’s picturesque Maalaea Harbor, where you’ll see the Jun Ken Po – our 42-foot Bertram yacht – docked at Slip #41. From here, you’ll navigate to scenic fishing hotspots and coral reefs abundant in diverse marine life. There, you’ll have the opportunity to hook prize species such as mahi-mahi (dolphinfish), ono (wahoo), ahi (yellowfin tuna), blue, black, and striped marlin, and much more.
Our crew will be there every step of the way to provide insights into the local sea life & expert fishing tips. On top of big game fish, you may be lucky enough to spot marine creatures such as whales, dolphins, and turtles. All fishing gear and guidance will be provided onboard the boat. You may want to bring sun protection and your own refreshments to store in our coolers.
Required Hawaii Fishing License
All participants are required to have a Hawaii state fishing license.
Individual participants will need to register online with the state DLNR and pay $20.00 per person through their website.
Children 14 and under, active military and their families, and state residents are exempt.
Do NOT pay for your fishing license until you are within a couple of days of your charter! The State will not issue refunds should trips be canceled due to weather or other events.
