Departing from Maalaea Harbor on the southern coast of Maui, you’ll take to the Pacific on board our state-of-the-art ‘Jun Ken Po,’ a 42-foot Bertram yacht that comfortably accommodates up to six passengers. This stylish vessel boasts all the luxuries and amenities you need for a day of navigating Maui’s waters, from coolers to keep your refreshments chilled to shaded seating and restrooms.
Utilizing their decades of experience alongside modern sensor and tracking systems, your angling crew will take you to some of the most awe-inspiring fishing hotspots in Maui, where you’ll attempt to catch incredible species that include the striped marlin, ahi (yellowfin tuna), mahi-mahi (dolphinfish), ono (wahoo), and many more.
On top of hooking a diverse array of fish, you’ll have the chance to spot marine creatures such as turtles, dolphins, and whales as you sail to Maui’s aquatic playgrounds. You can also enjoy your own drinks and snacks on board the boat, and you should bring plenty of sun protection. All the gear you’ll need to catch prize fish will be provided to you by our crew. Don’t forget your fishing license!
Required Hawaii Fishing License
All participants must have a Hawaii state fishing license.
Individual participants will need to register online with the state DLNR and pay $20.00 per person through their website.
Children 14 and under, active military and their families, and state residents are exempt.
Do NOT pay for your fishing license until you are within a couple of days of your charter! The State will not issue refunds should trips be canceled due to weather or other events.
